Support to the Climate Change Unit in Mozambique

The summary

Adelante is now bringing its support to the Climate Change Technical Assistance Programme, which aims at strengthening the institutional and technical capacity of the Government of Mozambique to mainstream climate change resilience into key economic sectors and to improve the evidentiary basis for future development policy and planning. More precisely, we contribute to the set-up of the monitoring and evaluation system that is related to the National Strategy on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation. The M&E system will be managed by the Climate Change Unit within the National Sustainable Development Council (CONDES). This was funded by the World Bank.
